Robert E. Raffety

Rob Raffety is the Senior Director of Policy Research Operations. In this capacity, Mr. Raffety overseas a team of program managers, research assistants, graduate student fellows, and interns who function in support of both in-house scholars and a broad network of economic, legal, and public policy scholars.  Aside from his duties at Mercatus, Mr. Raffety serves as an adjunct professor of law and public administration at GMU.  He is also a screenwriter and filmmaker.
Mr. Raffety is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College (’97) and received a JD/MPA joint degree from Syracuse University College of Law and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (’00).
