Nolan Gray works as a Research Director for California YIMBY. He previously worked as a Researcher at UCLA Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies and City Planner at the NYC Department of City Planning.
Besides, he is a PhD student in urban planning at University of California, Los Angeles. Gray earned a Master of City and Regional Planning degree at Rutgers University and received BAs in philosophy and political science from the University of Kentucky. He was a Research Fellow for the Urbanity Project at the Mercatus Center, a research center at George Mason University. His research focuses on land-use regulation, housing affordability, and urban design.
