Mihai Nica

Dr. Mihai Nica joined the Department of General Business at University of Central Oklahoma as Assistant Professor of Business in August 2007. Before coming to UCO he worked as a consultant with several well known international businesses and organizations such as Land O’Lakes, USAID, the World Bank, the European Union, and with the Romanian Government.
He graduated from the Ph.D. Program in Business Administration from Jackson State University. Dr. Nica has presented papers at many conferences and published articles in the areas of economics and business in such journals as The International Journal of Commerce and Management and Tourist Review. Dr. Nica’s research interests include business location theory, economic growth, economic impact studies, and regional economic development.
