Jeffrey A. Singer

Jeffrey A. Singer received his BA from Brooklyn College and his MD from New York Medical College. He practices general surgery in Phoenix, AZ and is a principal and founder of Valley Surgical Clinics, Ltd., the largest and oldest private group general surgery practice in Arizona. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He writes for and serves on the editorial advisory board of Arizona Medicine, the quarterly publication of the Arizona Medical Association.
He writes and lectures extensively on health care public policy, medical ethics, and drug prohibition policy, and is an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute in Washington, DC. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Political Thought and Leadership at Arizona State University and is an Instructor in the ASU Extension Center. His articles have appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals, and he has appeared as an expert on major media outlets across the country.
