Chioma Okoro

Chioma Okoro is a freshman student at Tuskegee University. She is majoring in economics with an emphasis in international affairs. Okoro has found an unwavering interest in the economic sector surrounding the place she holds dear, Africa. Raised by Nigerian immigrants, Okoro has been exposed to the economic barriers that many African governments put up, making mere survival extremely difficult for locals. Not until last year, however, did she notice that this poverty stricken crisis is centered on the lack of economic freedom, not the often seemingly interchangeable term financial freedom. Okoro plans in her future to attend graduate school for economics before settling in an organization that focuses on building long term prosperity in the continent.
