Cruz is an incoming Economics Ph.D. Student at George Mason University and a Graduate Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. His areas of study include Austrian Economics, Public Choice, the history of political thought, military history, political science, and the economics of anarchism. He is a former U.S. Marine and is published by the Ludwig von Mises Institute, the Foundation for Economic Education, and the Rockford Register Star. His writings can also be found on his Substack.
