Beryl Ooko was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. After joining Students For Liberty, she passed the bar exam and became a lawyer. Her signature achievement was helping pass the Public Benefits Organization Act, which has dramatically cut red tape for non-profit organizations in Kenya.
