Andrea O’sullivan

Tech Policy Analyst and Mercatus Center coauthor

Andrea O’Sullivan is the Director of the Center for Technology and Innovation at the James Madison Institute. Her work focuses on cybersecurity, surveillance, internet freedom, cryptocurrency, competition, and technology economics. She previously served as a Researcher and Program Manager at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where she co-authored “Liberalism and Cronyism: Two Rival Political and Economic Systems” with Randall G. Holcombe and “Bitcoin: A Primer for Policymakers” with Jerry Brito.

O’Sullivan studied economics and political science at Florida State University on the undergraduate level and economics at George Mason University at the graduate level.
