A lot of people like Robert Reich — and see Antony Davies DEBUNKS 7 Robert Reich LIES — for more on him — are concerned about greedy corporations, but what is the greediest corporation in America? The answer might surprise you, so let’s hit four quick facts on this massive corporation before we find the answer.

  1. It’s HUGE. In 2023, this corporation’s annual budget was 6.1 trillion dollars — now, just to put that in context, the next largest corporation after this one is Walmart, and the next after that is Amazon. We can combine the annual budgets of these two corporations, and they add up to just over ONE trillion dollars. In other words, the greediest corporation in America is six times larger than its two closest competitors combined.
  1. This corporation has a monopoly. That is, in the realm of goods and services that this particular corporation provides, it has rigged our political system to make sure that no other corporation or entity has the opportunity to compete, giving it full leeway to set prices and control the system in whatever way it deems best.

  1. This corporation makes money by taking it from people who might or might not want to do business with them. That is, this corporation violates the fundamental concept of consent. It forces people to pay into their system whether they choose to or not.
  1. For the last 20 years of this corporation’s existence, it has not made a dime. Yep, you heard that right. This corporation is so corrupt and so deeply entrenched in our broken political system that it continues to expand, year after year, despite operating on a business model that causes it to lose more money than it makes.

So, what is the greediest corporation in America?

It is the United States Federal Government!

See, a lot of people think that the federal government will help to control and minimize corporate greed. But that can’t possibly be the case because the federal government is far and away the greediest corporation to begin with.

There is no other corporation that is more self-interested, more self-preservationist, and that continues to expand year after year despite spending more money than they make.

So if you are concerned about greedy corporations, then you should be most concerned about the federal government.
